Barak Mizrachi, 28, from Carnegie, who will represent Australia at the Paralympics in Rio next month in table tennis, shared his tips on how to win the game with local MP Kelly O’Dwyer.

Australia’s number 1 in table tennis in his category will be among more than 170 elite athletes in the Australian team competing in 15 sports.

“The Paralympics provides a great opportunity for the community to support our elite athletes and share in their success,” Ms O’Dwyer said.

“Knowing that someone from our local area is going to compete at the international level will provide another level of interest and I am sure everyone will be supporting Barak in Rio,” she said.

Barak made his international debut in table tennis in 2003. He is currently ranked no. 1 in Australia and no. 33 in the world. More details of his career highlights are below.
